The tuition fees is none, but there is a semester contribution (approx. 270 € per semester) that covers the semester ticket transportation in and arοund Εrfurt.
The M.A. Religious Studies program at the University of Erfurt provides the opportunity to study the plurality of religious traditions of Europe past and present. The programme combines methodological tools from History, Religious Studies and Cultural Studies to analyze the role of religion in Europe's complex and pluralistic societies, as well as their global entanglements from a postcolonial perspective. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to elect one of four concentrations to deepen your knowledge in your particular area of interest.

Knowledge of a language of the chosen specialization (B1 level) is required for: Islamic Studies (Arabic, Urdu, or Turkish), Judaism (biblical and modern Hebrew), Orthodox Christianity (ancient or modern Greek or Russian). The teaching languages are German and English. Other languages can also be accepted by prior arrangement.
