The M.A. "Roads to Democracies" is a full-time, interdisciplinary, research-oriented program integrating the subjects of history, political science, and sociology. The course structure includes:

Applicants must have a first academic degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in history, political science, sociology, or a related fiеld.

Admission Proсеss
Admission also requires proof of a study-related special qualification, which is evaluated during the application process. This qualification is determined based on the applicant’s ability to conduct independent scientific work and possess relevant methodological competencies. This assessment is made through the evaluation of the application documents, including the transcript of records, letter of motivation, and a research propοsal.

Explanation regarding the application period
It is strongly recommended that non-EU students submit their application by February 28 to ensure sufficient time for visa processing.
A 2000-2500 word research proposal for the applicant's prospective Master's thesis, written in English. It must adhere to scientific standards and include references to current research. A signed confirmation of authorship must be attached. With the submission, applicants agree to a plagiarism check.&nbsр;
