Qualification Requirements
The application requirements for the study program in “Scientific Computing” are:
A Bachelor’s Degree* in one of the following areas (or equivalent):
- Mathematics
- Computer science
- Engineering science
- Physics
*The Bachelor's Degree should consist of 180 ECTS.
GPA of 1.9 or better according to the German system.
Knowledge of Numerical Mathematics (proved with at least 16 ECTS in the transcripts).
Language Requirements

A total of at least 150 ECTS and a minimum grade of 1.9 (German System) are required by the time of application.
Applicants who have not yet completed their first degree at the time of preparing their application will be considered if they submit the corresponding certificate by the end of the second semester.
Plus, the module descriptions of the study programs for which you claim the credits.
Note: All copies of the original transcripts and degrees must be authenticated as true copies of the originals with a stamp and signature by an authorized institution (i.e., German embassy, consulate, public notary). The accuracy of the attached English translation of the documents must be confirmed.
