Previous Degree
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, engineering science, physics or a degree with equivalent content.
Sufficient specialized knowledge in numerical mathematics of at least 16 credits.
Applications may already be submitted before completion of the bachelor's degree; however, a total of at least 150 credits and a minimum grade of "1.9" are required by the time of application.
Conditional admission is possible; special conditions may comprise up to 10 credit points.

For EU and non-EU citizens:
- Application form Master Scientific Computing: this will be generated via CAMPUSonline once the data has been entered.
- Curriculum vitae: You can download and fill out the template provided on the course page.
- English language certificate (see language requirements).
- German language certificate (see language requirements).
- Numerics skills in an amount of at least 16 credit points: please upload a module description of the course that provides information about your numerics skills. Applicants who can not provide these skills will be enrolled upon successful admission on the condition that they submit the evidence at least by the end of the second semester.
- Secondary school leaving certificate including subjects and grades, in original language + certified translation in German or English.
- Bachelor's degree transcript of records (or for comparable degree) including subjects and grades - at least 150 ECTS points with a final grade corresponding to "1,9" or better on the German grading system (Grade conversion using the Bavarian Formula), in original language + certified translation in German or English.
- Bachelor's degree grading scale with the maximum grade and minimum final grade required to be awarded the degree – not for passing individual courses (must be issued by your university), in original language + certified translation in German or English.
- Written presentation of course-specific competencies: Motivation letter - required is a cover letter in English, in which the reasons for the application are briefly explained.
