Qualification Requirements

Previous Degree

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, engineering science, physics or a degree with equivalent content.

Sufficient specialized knowledge in numerical mathematics of at least 16 credits.

If the bachelor's certificate or a diploma recognized as equivalent is not yet available, a confirmation with individual grades must be submitted for all examination and study achievements. These achievements must include partial examinations totaling at least 150 credit points and, based on the overall grade calculation, have an average score of at least 1.9. Submit at least grade 1.9 by the end of the second semester.

A final grade of 1.9 or better.

Additional information:
Applicants who have not obtained their university entrance qualification or their first university degree in German must provide proof of German language knowledge. Applicants who cannot provide this proof will be enrolled on the condition that they submit the proof of the required language skills by the end of the second semester at the latest.
