Course Description
The Sports Management MBA at Goethe Business School is a 24-month, part-time English-taught program designed for professionals who want to lead transformation in the global sports industry. Based at Campus Westend in Frankfurt, the program combines advanced management education with a strong focus on innovation, digitalization, data analytics, AI, media monetization, and commercial strategy. Students explore how clubs, leagues, media platforms, technology, gaming, and digital ecosystems are reshaping the future of sports. Through practice-oriented learning, real-life cases, and access to an exclusive industry network of clubs, federations, sponsors, and guest lecturers, participants develop the skills to create value and drive change in a fast-evolving sports business environment.
Requirements
Qualification Requirements
Candidates with an undergraduate degree (i.e., bachelor or equivalent) of 210 credit points (CP) based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) are eligible for admission. Candidates with less than 210 CP at the undergraduate level can have their post-university professional work experience assessed for up to 30 CP during the admissions process in the form of an interview. The allocation of credit points for work experience will appear on the Academic Transcript of Records and be titled ‘Prior Learning Assessmеnt’.
Proof of relevant post-undergraduate work experience of at least one year is to be submitted, e.g., a performance review, reference letter, or written confirmation from your employеr.
Visa Information for Non-EU applicants: If you are exploring the part-time master programs at Goethe Business School from a country outside the EU, please note that you will require a student visa to study in Germany. The German authorities will usually not issue a student visa for admissions to a part-time study program in Germany. Therefore, if you are able to relocate to Germany on a different type of visa other than a student visa, for example, a work visa, then you may be eligible to study with us. Otherwise, please consult your respective embassy or check out this portal to explore full-time study programs in Germanу.
