Considering all the areas of future technologies and Industry 4.0, you learn how to optimize production. You understand how human-machine interaction and smart factory concepts can be supported by artificial intelligence and materials science. In another practical part you learn about the robot programming language RAPID and the arrangement of robot tools and –work objects.

This Summer School is really worthful for engineering students in many aspects. First of all, the lectures are well-constructed and cover various topics about the frontline of the production technology in Aachen. Students can gain practical knowledge and insights about the lecture contents through practice sessions and lab tours.
The time outside class was also exciting. There are almost no opportunities in my country where I can communicate with engineering students from various countries, so this Short Course was a precious experience. All of us were engineering students, though our careers and majors were different from each other. The rich diversity of this course broadened my perspective and offered me a more flexible way of thinking.
Conclusively, this Short Course motivated me to learn more, both in engineering and languages.
