All important info for international students in Germany (2021/2022)
While the subjects of Arts and Art Pedagogy can take many different forms, the English-language Master’s programs in this field offered at German universities often take creative and critical approaches to the newest intersections of art and technology. They look at how media and arts can invent new artistic forms or what messages the arts can use to optimize communication in various settings.
The programs are ideal for people who strive in free and creative environments. They are usually project based, grant time to work on individual projects, give students support to access third party funding and cutting-edge studios and equipment, and leave the focus up to the students. If you take some time to browse our Study Finder, you will see that you may end up creating art for public spaces or designing stages. Students can also end up working in experimental radio, multimedia narration, photography, or even in interdisciplinary environments with composers, musicians, photographers, researchers, computer scientists and managers.
