Conservation Management is the field focused on protecting species of fauna and flora, maintaining and restoring habitats, enhancing ecosystem services, and generally protecting biological diversity. It expands to other similar fields such as “Nature Conservation” and “Conservation Biology”, holding as a core tenet the mission to address issues pertaining to global biodiversity decline. Students will develop knowledge-based frameworks designed to engage policy and formulate solutions to concerns affecting communities, ecosystems, and cultures on multiple levels of complexity.
