Are you interested in studying Theology and Religion in the country where Martin Luther founded protestantism? In a country where, around 500 years later, the integration of populations with different religious backgrounds remains a hot topic?

A few German universities offer English-language Master’s programs in Theology and Religion. Available programs either focus more broadly on religious studies, equipping students to understand and compare different religions, or on intercultural theology and eucumenical studies. This diversity in topics teaches students the role of religion and theology in intercultural and interreligious settings with a special focus on Christian religions. Furthermore, there are programs focusing on theology, history and culture of other religions.

The programs are open to students of all backgrounds, and often include stays abroad or project work. Browse your options in the Study Finder.
