German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer

The Hochschule des Bundes für öffentliche Verwaltung (HS Bund), also known as the Federal University of Applied Administrative Sciences, is a unique institution of higher education in Germany. Founded in 1979, it is the only internal university of the German federal administration, catering specifically to the educational needs of the federal civil service. With approximately 1,500 students, the HS Bund offers a specialised learning environment for aspiring public servants.

The university has a distinctive multi-campus structure, with 11 locations across Germany, including Brühl, Berlin, and Münster. This decentralised approach allows students to study closer to their home regions while still being part of a cohesive educational network.
