Hochschule für Künste im Sozialen, Ottersberg

The Hochschule für Künste im Sozialen, Ottersberg (HKS Ottersberg), officially known as the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Ottersberg, is a public university founded in 1967. It is a relatively small institution located in the town of Ottersberg, approximately 20 km north of Verden, in Lower Saxony, Germany. 

Located in a rural setting, the university campus occupies the site of a former castle. The campus environment is characterised by historic buildings, including the remains of the castle's ramparts and moat, providing a unique and picturesque atmosphere for students.
