The Heidelberg University of Church Music (HfK Heidelberg), founded in 1931 and sponsored by the Evangelical Church in Baden, is a public, state-recognized university in Heidelberg, Germany. With around 50 students, it offers a highly personalized learning environment on its Hildastraße campus, featuring modern practice spaces and performance venues. Accredited by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg, the HfK provides Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Protestant Church Music as well as a Bachelor’s in Trombone Performance. Its curriculum combines musical excellence, liturgical practice, and theological training, guided by experienced faculty of musicians and scholars.
