The Berufsakademie für IT und Wirtschaft Oldenburg, also known as IBS IT & Business School Oldenburg, is a state-recognised higher education institution founded in 2003 by the regional business community in cooperation with the Oldenburg research institute OFFIS – Institute for Information Technology. It offers dual bachelor’s degree programmes in Business Information Technology and Business Administration, combining academic study with practical phases in partner companies. This model provides students with hands-on experience, a strong link to industry, and the advantages of small-group learning.
