The Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU) is Germany's only Catholic university. This state-recognized private institution serves 5,000 students across two Bavarian campuses: Eichstätt, located in the Altmühltal Nature Park, and Ingolstadt, home to the Audi headquarters and located 60 kilometers from Munich. KU offers programs across eight faculties, including theology, philosophy, education, geography, journalism, and business administration. The Ingolstadt School of Management is particularly known for its business programs, some of which are partially taught in English.

Numerus Clausus (Admission Restriction)

For degree courses with a numerus clausus, part of the study places are allocated according to the grade point average (GPA) of the previous degree. Selection is generally based on how many applicants apply for a place. The higher the grade, the more difficult it is to get onto the course. The German grading system ranges from 1.0 (very good) to 6.0 (unsatisfactory).
