Fulda University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Fulda), founded in 1974, is a public university in Hesse with 9,655 students, including 3,203 internationals from more than 100 countries, making it one of the largest universities in the region. Its compact urban campus lies in the historic baroque city of Fulda, offering a close-knit academic community with excellent connections to the rest of Germany. Across eight departments, the university provides a broad range of programmes in engineering, computer science, business, law, nutrition, health, society and culture, with unique strengths in Nutrition, Global Health, Renewable Energy and Human Rights. Numerus Clausus (Admission Restriction)

For degree courses with a numerus clausus, part of the study places are allocated according to the grade point average (GPA) of the previous degree.
