The Staatliche Hochschule fĂŒr Gestaltung Karlsruhe (HfG), also known as the University of Arts and Design Karlsruhe, is a renowned public university of art and design in Karlsruhe, Germany. Founded in 1992, the HfG Karlsruhe was established in conjunction with the ZKM Centre for Art and Media, creating a unique synergy between teaching, research and exhibition facilities. With approximately 400 students, the HfG Karlsruhe offers an intimate and focused learning environment. The university's main building, a former industrial site shared with the ZKM, features light-filled atriums, bridges and adjoining spaces that offer exceptional opportunities for events and exhibitions.

Numerus Clausus (Admission Restriction)

For degree courses with a numerus clausus, part of the study places are allocated according to the grade point average (GPA) of the previous degree.
