The integrated campus concept and the location of the university in the town of Nordhausen enable the combination of research and instruction, studying and living on campus, offering virtually incomparable prerequisites for an interesting and pleasant student life at the southern edge of the Harz. Covering 11 hectares, the campus offers sufficient scope to combine both instruction and research, sport, culture and accommodation on the campus. This enables studying with short distances, intensive support in small study groups and in cutting-edge laboratories and teaching facilities.
