Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences, officially known as Ostfalia Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften, is a public university located in Lower Saxony, Germany. It was founded in 1971 and has an approximate student population of over 11,000 as of 2024. The university has multiple campuses situated in various cities across Lower Saxony, including Wolfenbüttel, Wolfsburg, Salzgitter, Suderburg, and Braunschweig.
Its campuses are located in both urban and suburban areas, offering students a variety of learning environments. The main campus in Wolfenbüttel is a historic town known for its well-preserved Renaissance architecture and the famous Herzog August Library, one of the largest Renaissance libraries in the world.
