The University of Labor, founded in 2021, is a private university in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is the first university in Europe to be founded by labor unions, specifically IG Metall and the German Trade Union Federation (DGB). The university focuses on providing education for a co-determined world of work, with the goal of empowering people to shape the professional and social landscape in the spirit of justice and democracy.
