Study Public Administration in Berlin (2026/27)

Germany's public administration programs are designed to equip international students with the skills necessary to navigate and lead within one of the world's most effective bureaucratic systems. These programs offer a unique opportunity to study how Weberian ideals of rational administration meet contemporary challenges. Students will explore topics such as digitizing government services and managing refugee integration. The goal is to produce public servants who understand why German administrative efficiency is not just a stereotypical joke but a serious competitive advantage.

Numerus Clausus (Admission Restriction)

For degree courses with a numerus clausus, part of the study places are allocated according to the grade point average (GPA) of the previous degree. Selection is generally based on how many applicants apply for a place. The higher the grade, the more difficult it is to get onto the course. The German grading system ranges from 1.0 (very good) to 6.0 (unsatisfactory).
