The Energy Management program taught me the interconnections between energy, technology, and business. The close-knit atmosphere, knowledgeable mentors, and incredible laboratory facilities were influential for me. After three years as a project manager in building automation, I founded my own company in 2019 with the goal of minimizing cable installation for building automation, generating more building data, and optimizing its utilization.
I was already involved in the energy transition in the region when I was at school. Today I am responsible for the project planning and operation of wind turbines. My energy management studies prepared me perfectly for this task with the ideal mix of technical and economic content. I can recommend the degree programme to anyone who wants to work professionally for climate protection and the energy transition.
Laurin, Dominik, and I met during our Energy Management studies at HHN. Today we are working on our own startup in the field of digitalizing compressed air systems. We laid the foundation for this venture during our bachelor's studies, where we acquired important expertise in energy management. The practical experiences gained through labs and internships continue to benefit us to this day.
