English language proficiency can also be proven with an average grade of 11 points in English in the qualification phase of the upper school, whereby English must have been continued uninterruptedly until the Abitur (note: the points achieved in the last four half-years in the upper school must result in an average of 11 points), a school-leaving certificate from an English-speaking school that entitles you to enter higher education. The certificate presented as proof of language skills must not be older than a maximum of two years, calculated from the beginning of the semester for which enrollment is requested. This deadline does not apply to the grade point average of 11 points in English in the upper school. German language proficiency can also be proven with the "examination part German" of the assessment test at preparatory colleges.
