Course Description
Discover the dynamic world of European cultures and societies with the B.A. European Cultures and Society (EUCS) at Europa-Universität Flensburg. This interdisciplinary program delves into the cultural and social sciences of Europe, offering a rich blend of empirical research and critical thinking methods. Students engage in project-based learning, applying scientific knowledge in diverse fields like research, journalism, art, scenography, and entrepreneurship. This international program taught entirely in English, includes a semester abroad, equipping students with practical skills for their future careers.
Requirements
Qualification Requirements
General high school degree or a subject-bound high school degree in economics. In Schleswig-Holstein, a high school degree certifying readiness for a technical college does not entitle a person to study at a universitу.

The following certificates are recognized as proof of your language proficiency.

Application Procedure & Selection
Application Documents
Application documents to be submitted:
- Application form resulting from the online procedure.
- Supplementary sheet to the application form.
- Notarized copy of the certificate of university entrance qualification.
- Current or previous certificate of enrollment in a German university, if that is/was the case, with the indication of the university semester (simple copy).
- Evidence of English language skills (see language requirements).
- Evidence of the completion of any recognized services in Germany (military or community service, voluntary social year, voluntary ecological year, federal volunteer service) in single copy; or in a notarized copy if it is to be used for preferential admission.
- Optional: a sufficiently stamped and addressed return envelope (only DIN A4 or DIN A5, not cardboard reinforced) for the returning of application documents in case of rejection in the selection procedurе.
