Course Description
Now more than ever it has become very important to develop special qualifications in both the health and the informatics sector. The B.Sc. in Health Informatics from the Deggendorf Institute of Technology is a unique program that combines teachings about the health sector with knowledge of the informatics sector. You’ll receive technical, scientific, medical, and informatics training during the courses of study to be able to successfully enter the labor market working in fields such as medical technology, healthcare safety, distributions of medical products, and eHealth, among others.

General university entrance qualification.
Prior knowledge in economics or science-based subjects is benefiсial.
Basic programming skills.
Applicants are required to pass an online admission tеst.
Language Requirements
The following certificates are recognized as proof of your language proficiency.
EnglishSpecification: Listening 400 points; Reading 385 points.
GermanSpecification: B1 language level must be completed only by the end of the studies and proven by a certificate

Application for international students:
Required documents for application:
- Secondary school leaving certificate.
- CV and photo.
- Language certificates (see language requirements).
- Passport.
The whole list of documents is available on the Primuss platform during the application period. It will be individually generated out of your given personal information on the online platform Primuss.
All required documents must be uploaded before the given deadlines.
It is not necessary to send in documents by post mail during the official application period. Please follow all steps, which are explained in detail on the application portal, and read all explanations carefully.
Applicants from China, Mongolia, and Vietnam have specific admission requirements. A certificate from the Academic Inspection Authority/Akademische Prüfstelle (APS) from a German Embassy in the respective country is requirеd.
