International Mechanical Enginееring

The primary language of instruction is English, specifically designed for international students. The program also emphasizes language proficiency by incorporating mandatory German language courses. A minimum English proficiency of B1 and a German proficiency of at least A2 are required at the start of the program. There are two language tracks:

• Language Track A (LT-A): Designed for students who begin their studies with a German language proficiency lower than C1 (CEFR). Students are required to learn German as a foreign language up to level B2 (CEFR) by the end of the fourth semester, ensuring they are fully prepared for the internship in the fifth semester.

• Language Track B (LT-B): Intended for students who start with a German language proficiency of at least C1 (CEFR), including those with a German university entrance qualification. These students are required to further develop their English skills in the first two semesters and participate in the Intercultural Competence module in semesters three and four.

This educational approach not only prepares students for engineering challenges but also equips them with the necessary language skills for a successful career in Germany or German-speaking environments.
