Qualification Requirements
A general higher education entrance qualification, subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
If you do not yet hold the required higher education entrance qualification in order to study directly at a German university, you usually have the following two options: either start studying at a
university in your home country (please check the requirements in the DAAD database, as they differ from country to country) or take the so-called Feststellungsprüfung (assessment test). The latter is usually taken after a one-year preparation course at the Studienkolleg Sachsen, where the language of instruction is German. It is not recommended to take the Feststellungsprüfung as an external candidate without prior preparation at the Studienkolleg.
Language Requirements
The following certificates are recognised as proof of your language proficience.
