The Accreditation Agency for Study Programs in Engineering Sciences, Computer Sciences, Natural Sciences and Mathematics is a non-profit association located in Düsseldorf that works nationally and internationally for recognition, comparability and quality control (accreditation) of Bachelor's and Master's programs.
Requirements
Qualification Requirements
The application requirements for the study program in "Plastics Enginееring" are:
e.g. school leaving certificate (Abitur), master craftsman’s certificate, or journeyman’s certificate (the latter with proof of at least three years of relevant professional experience)
University of Applied Sciences entrance qualification or subject-specific/general higher education entrance qualification
For professionally qualified applicants without a school-based higher education entrance qualification (journeymen/journeywomen), an examination certificate plus an employment reference confirming at least three years of relevant professional experience
Recognized foreign higher education entrance qualificatiοn
at least B2 (CΕFR)
At least A2 (CEFR) at the time of application
At least B2 (CEFR) no later than the end of the 5th semestеr
For the Plastics Engineering degree program, a pre-study internship of at least eight weeks is required. Ideally, this should be completed before the start of the program, but it must be documented no later than the 4th semester. The internship must cover content related to plastics processing or manufacturing; a relevant completed vocational training program or twelve months of relevant professional experience may be recognized as equivalеnt.
