Eichstätt: List of all international State Exam programs (2026/27)

Eichstätt offers international students a distinctive educational experience at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Germany's only Catholic university, known for excellence in humanities, social sciences, journalism, and business administration. This charming baroque town in Bavaria provides quality education in a setting of extraordinary beauty—the entire medieval-baroque city centre forms an architectural jewel along the Altmühl River, where ornate churches, cobblestone squares, and pastel-coloured façades create a backdrop unlike any other German university town. Despite its intimate scale, the university maintains a strong international orientation with numerous exchange programmes and a supportive community that helps newcomers settle in quickly, while small class sizes foster close relationships with professors and genuine academic mentorship that larger institutions cannot replicate. Students enjoy the rare balance of historic ambiance and youthful energy: the university brings vitality to this ancient episcopal seat, filling its cafés and riverside paths with student life while preserving its peaceful, unhurried character.
