Heide: Master Programs with NC

Heide offers international students a calm and authentic living environment in northern Germany, shaped by openness, nature, and a distinctly North German way of life. This small market town in Schleswig-Holstein is best known for its impressive central market square—the largest in Germany—which serves as a lively gathering place with weekly markets and local festivals throughout the year. Heide’s compact size creates a relaxed, personal atmosphere with short distances and a strong sense of community, making everyday life easy and approachable. Exceptionally affordable living costs, a safe environment, and a welcoming local culture add to the city’s appeal.

For degree courses with a numerus clausus, part of the study places are allocated according to the grade point average (GPA) of the previous degree. Selection is generally based on how many applicants apply for a place. The higher the grade, the more difficult it is to get onto the course. The German grading system ranges from 1.0 (very good) to 6.0 (unsatisfactory).
