Leverkusen: Bachelor programs with Admission Restriction — Numerus Clausus/NC (2026/27)

Leverkusen offers international students a modern, well-connected urban environment where industry and practicality come together. Situated between Cologne and Düsseldorf, the city provides direct access to the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region—one of Europe's most dynamic economic areas. The global pharmaceutical company Bayer, headquartered here, gives the city an international character and opens doors to internships and career opportunities that few mid-sized German cities can match. Despite its industrial profile, Leverkusen features generous green spaces, including riverside paths along the Rhine and the Carl Duisberg Japanese Garden, one of the largest of its kind in Europe.
