Ludwigsburg: LL.M. Programs with NC

Ludwigsburg offers international students a distinctive experience in one of Germany's most elegant baroque settings. The city is home to the Pädagogische Hochschule, specialising in teacher training and education sciences, and the renowned Film Academy Baden-Württemberg, whose graduates regularly win international awards and maintain strong connections to Germany's media industry. Germany's largest original baroque palace complex and its magnificent gardens—host to the famous pumpkin festival and spectacular seasonal illuminations—create an inspiring backdrop for academic life. With around 95,000 residents, Ludwigsburg combines historic grandeur with modern convenience: Stuttgart is just 15 minutes away by S-Bahn, offering metropolitan amenities while living costs remain lower than in the state capital.

For degree courses with a numerus clausus, part of the study places are allocated according to the grade point average (GPA) of the previous degree. Selection is generally based on how many applicants apply for a place. The higher the grade, the more difficult it is to get onto the course. The German grading system ranges from 1.0 (very good) to 6.0 (unsatisfactory).
