Minden: Bachelor programs with Admission Restriction — Numerus Clausus/NC (2026/27)

Minden offers international students a distinctive educational experience at the local campus of OWL University of Applied Sciences (Technische Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe), specialising in engineering, architecture, and data science—fields where strong connections to regional industries in automation technology, building systems, and manufacturing create genuine internship pathways and career opportunities in one of Germany's most innovative industrial regions. This charming historic city sits at a remarkable geographical intersection where the Weser River meets the Mittelland Canal, and the engineering feat of the Wasserstraßenkreuz—where ships cross over ships on a massive aqueduct—provides fitting symbolism for a campus focused on technical excellence. The impressive thousand-year-old cathedral and well-preserved medieval old town create an inspiring backdrop for forward-looking studies, blending centuries of history with modern academic facilities and well-equipped laboratories where hands-on learning defines the experience. The intimate campus atmosphere fosters close relationships with professors who know students by name, while the practical orientation ensures graduates leave with skills employers recognise.
