Montabaur: Master Programs with NC

Montabaur is a compact and well-connected town in Rhineland-Palatinate, distinguished by its striking castle that rises above the town and defines its skyline. First mentioned in historical records in 959 and granted town rights in 1291, Montabaur combines deep historical roots with a modern, forward-looking character. Today, the town functions as an important regional center, benefiting greatly from its location on the Cologne–Frankfurt high-speed rail line, which allows fast and easy access to major cities while maintaining a calm, small-town atmosphere. A walkable town center, surrounding green landscapes, and a strong sense of community contribute to a high quality of life.

For degree courses with a numerus clausus, part of the study places are allocated according to the grade point average (GPA) of the previous degree. Selection is generally based on how many applicants apply for a place. The higher the grade, the more difficult it is to get onto the course. The German grading system ranges from 1.0 (very good) to 6.0 (unsatisfactory).
