Sankt Augustin: Bachelor programs with Admission Restriction — Numerus Clausus/NC (2026/27)

Sankt Augustin sits in North Rhine-Westphalia, just minutes from Bonn and within easy reach of Cologne—giving international students a quieter, greener study environment while staying connected to two major cities with rich cultural scenes and international airports. The town is home to the Sankt Augustin campus of Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (H-BRS), known for its hands-on approach to education, offering Bachelor's and Master's programmes in fields like engineering, computer science, and social policy, many with strong English-language support. Students also benefit from close ties to on-campus research institutes, including the Institute for Safety and Security Research (ISF) and the International Centre for Sustainable Development (IZNE), which open doors to practical projects and industry connections. Beyond academics, Sankt Augustin offers affordable living compared to nearby cities, plenty of green spaces for unwinding, and a welcoming community that makes settling in easier—an ideal base for students who want serious academic credentials without sacrificing quality of life.
