Located in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, Tuttlingen is known as the "World Centre of Medical Technology" and is home to over 600 companies that contribute to more than half of the world's production of surgical instruments. The city is home to the Tuttlingen campus of Furtwangen University (HFU), which offers a range of Bachelor's and Master's programmes in fields such as medical technology, mechatronics and materials science. These programmes are developed in close collaboration with local industry partners, providing students with hands-on experience and strong employment prospects upon graduation.
