Study Chemistry- Teaching Degree Comprehensive School [Gesamtschule] in Wuppertal (2026/27)

Studying chemistry to become a teacher at comprehensive schools means introducing students of all ability levels to the fascinating world of substances and their transformations. As a chemistry teacher at a comprehensive school, you teach young people who will later begin vocational training in the trades, as well as those who aspire to study science—and everyone in between. This diversity makes teaching special: you learn to explain chemical phenomena in a way that is accessible to everyone and experience how experiments can inspire enthusiasm, regardless of performance level. When there are bangs, smoke, or color changes, suddenly all eyes are on the experiment—chemistry is the subject that makes abstract science tangible.
