The Master of Arts in Diaconia Management at the University of Bielefeld qualifies managers from diaconal organisations and companies in the social and private sector in Germany and Europe for professional and personal development. The part-time programme lasts four semesters and aims to promote reflection on personal leadership practice in the context of an interdisciplinary discourse and to provide in-depth insights into the St. Gallen Management Model (3rd generation). The ten modules of the course cover fundamental and current topics from theological, ethical, social science, business and economic discourses, which are integrated into diaconal research and taught in a practical way. The course is aimed at people with a degree in a diaconal discipline and at least three years of management experience who wish to deepen their skills in the management of diaconal and social enterprises.
