Geosciences aim to understand the formation and development of planet Earth up to its current complexity. The Earth's surface - and thus the human habitat - is constantly changing through interactions between the geosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere.

International prospective students should note that the course is mainly taught in German and that good German language skills must be demonstrated.

All prospective students must have good English skills, as some courses are held in English.
