Innovation meets sustainability – become part of a movement!
This course examines the impact of innovation decisions in the areas of products, services, and business models on society and the environment and shows how positive contributions can be made to sustainable corporate management.
The central content element and foundation is the alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the circular economy, and sustainability innovations with positive effects (net positive impact) on the economy, planet, and society. It aims at a new understanding ("Doing Good") of decision-makers in the development of products, services, and business models, taking into account the changed importance of climate protection, biodiversity, and inclusive economy.
Our key questions:
- How can sustainable products, services, and business models be developed and marketed?
- How can environmental awareness and social responsibility be combined with corporate success?
- How can important decisions in complex systems and under uncertainty be made responsibly with a positive impact?
This course trains the leaders of the sustainable economy of tomorrow. It combines outstanding management training with in-depth knowledge in the areas of sustainability innovation, business development, and responsible leadership. The corresponding personality development (entrepreneurial mindset) as an integrative element and the creation of "space" for the development of social skills meet the requirements of business and society.

Qualifikationsvoraussetzungen
Bachelor's degree in a business-related subject as well as graduates of scientific and technical fields of study who can demonstrate a relevant connection to the topic of innovation, business development, entrepreneurship and sustainability through their electives, theses or extensive practical experience.
Required ECTS crеdits: 210.
You must have at least two years of relevant professional experience after completing your first degree. We are particularly interested in initial experience in the areas of sustainability, innovation, business development, and entrepreneurship. Under certain conditions, you can also be admitted with less experience. Please contact the relevant study advisοr.
Sprachvoraussetzungen
Die folgenden Zertifikate werden als Nachweis deiner Sprachkenntnisse anerkannt.
Spezifikation: At least 22 in the written part and 20 in all other competency areas.
Spezifikation: At least a score of 173 or a grade of B.

- Current CV and 2 recent photographs of the applicant.
- Proof of university entrance qualification.
- Proof of first professional university degree including grade overview and final grade.
- Detailed proof of sufficient professional experience.
- Evidence of all professional training activities with the corresponding certificates of achievement.
- A letter of motivation that clearly expresses the importance of this course of study for the applicant's career planning.
- Description (Proposal) of the planned project (Project Lab) that deals with the solution of a real problem in the company/start-up (length: 1-2 pages, problem background, solution approach, procedure, expected challenge, contribution to the company/stakeholder in case of successful solution).
- Proof of sufficient English language skills (see language requirements). The admissions committee decides on exceptions.
- You are welcome to submit additional documents if they strengthen your application. At the same time, Albstadt Sigmaringen University reserves the right to request further information and documents that may assist the selection committee in making its final decisiοn.
