Kursbeschreibung
The master’s degree is designed in such a way that it can be studied entirely in English with the appropriate choice of modules. Depending on the focus area you choose, you can study in German, English or both languages.

Qualifikationsvoraussetzungen
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science: Games Engineering or a comparable degree program.
Minimum standard period of study: 6 semestеrs.
Proof of specialist knowledge in the form of a "Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test" or in the form of a "Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering" (GATE) is mandatory for applicants who have completed their first degree in the following countries: China, Bangladesh, India, Iran, Pakistan. For other applicants with a first degree that was not completed in a signatory state to the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education in the European Region (the Lisbon Convention), the submission of the tests is recommendеd.

Applicants who did not obtain their qualification for postgraduate studies (usually a bachelor's degree) in a country within the EU/EEA must apply for a preliminary documentation (VPD) from uni-assist, additionally to the TUM application.
What documents must be submitted to uni-assist?
- Filled-in application form for VPD.
- A certified copy of your degree certificate (if available).
- A certified copy of your transcript of records.
- A certified translation, given that the original documents have not been issued in either German or English.
You don't have to submit an entire application for a specific program to uni-assist, you only have to apply for the general preliminary documentation (VPD).
What documents must be submitted to the university?
- Application for admission (upload - signed).
- Degree certificate and diploma or subject and grade transcript of studies to date.
- Transcript of records.
- Proof of English language proficiency (see language requirements).
- Letter of motivation.
- Essay.
- Curricular analysis.
- Module catalog.
- Complete and current résumé.
- Passport.
- Preliminary documentation (VPD) if the qualification for graduate studies (e.g. a bachelor's) is obtained outside the EU/EEA.
