Course Description
This Master’s program in International Law (LL.M.) provides a general introduction to international law and its role in today’s complex and interdependent world. Special emphasis will be placed on international trade, investments, and arbitration. This allows students to strengthen and broaden their knowledge of international law and supports their professional development by enhancing their problem-solving skills in a transnational context.
Special features and characteristics
The Master’s degree program is offered by the Faculties of Law at Heidelberg University, Germany, and the University of Chile, with academic support from the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law.
Courses are taught in English or Spanish and are held in Santiago de Chile and Heidelberg.

Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in juridical sciences granted by a Chilean or foreign universitу.
The applicants must have an outstanding record of achievement throughout their law studiеs.

Application Documents
You will have to upload scans/fotos (only pdf files are allowed) of the following documents:
- Curriculum vitae.
- University entrance certificate (in many cases this equals the school leaving certificate from you secondary school = high school = grammar school).
- Bachelor certificate and transcript as separate documents.
- If applicable, certicates/transcipts of any other academic degress.
- Language certificate (if available; see language requirements).
Please check that the scans are legible, but not of excessive size either. Usually a scan with a resultion of 200 dpi is fully sufficiеnt.
