• A completed university degree with 210 ECTS credits and an overall grade of 2.5 or better in the field of computer science from a German university or an equivalent qualification.

  • At least 20 ECTS in mathematics, covering areas such as statistics/probability theory, linear algebra, and calculus.

  • At least 15 ECTS in computer science, including both practical (e.g., databases, operating systems) and theoretical (e.g., algorithms, data structures) components.

  • Strongly recommended: Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python), demonstrated through project work or professional experience.

  • Strongly recommended: Submission of the applicant's final thesis as evidence of scientific work.

  • Applicants with less directly related bachelor's degrees must clearly demonstrate a focus on computer science/mathematics in their studies.
