Academic degrees in other scientific subjects are approved, provided they are related to physics. Proof of knowledge in the fields of physics and mathematics adding up to 60 credit points, at least 6 credit points of which in astrophysiсs.

English language proficiency can also be proven by a degree certificate for the completion of an English-language degree program at a recognized institution of higher education, or a certificate of the higher education entrance qualification obtained for an English language course of education in a country that has English as an official language. Other certificates or credentials recognized as equivalent will be published on the University of Potsdam’s website in accordance with the LSK’s decision before the start of the application process.
