If you are not already enrolled at Goethe University:
Copy of your university entrance qualification (e.g. Abitur).
Bachelor's degree (see previous degree) with transcript of records (for foreign certificates: please also provide a certified copy in English or German).
Knowledge of English (see language requirements).
Letter of motivation: A letter of motivation written in English of 400 to 600 words, which should provide information about why the applicant wants to study the Master's program in Biodiversity and Ecosystem Health at Goethe University. What is required is a convincing presentation, in particular of research-oriented and/or professional-field-oriented interest in the subject area of the master's degree program. Previous study and professional experience as well as non-university activities relevant to the master's degree program, which can provide information about suitability for the master's degree program, should also be presented. Assessment of the letter of motivation: An overall assessment is made, 49% of which is based on this grade and 51% on the grade of the first professional qualification.
Applicants with a foreign university entrance qualification and a foreign undergraduate degree: Good knowledge of German of at least B1 (no proof required).
