Bioinformatics

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a subject/program essential for the master's program such as life sciences or in a comparable subject (e.g. biology or life sciences). Others successfully completed first professional university studies in a non-teaching science discipline with a meaningful connection to the intended master's degree program (e.g., bioinformatics, computer science, physics, or mathematics).

Required ECTS credits: 180.

At least 6 LP of programming knowledge must be proven. Competences corresponding to those described in the four bridge modules, the proof is provided by the successful participation in performances amounting to a total of 24 LP within the framework of the bachelor's degrees regulated under the regulated bachelor degrees. For applicants who do not meet these requirements, the examination board may determine in the admission notice that a maximum of two bridge modules must be completed as mandatory modules of 6 LP each (maximum 12 LP). must be completed. If, in order to equalize the knowledge level, requirements in the amount of more than 12 LP or more than two bridge modules, the admission requirements are not fulfilled.
