Course Description
The master’s program for working professionals offers specializations in Biotechnology, Biopharmaceutics, Drug Development, and Medical Engineering. The program teaches contents from science and technology as well as interdisciplinary competences. The curriculum includes topics from the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceutics, drug development, analytics, and process optimization. The contents are application- and research-oriented, enabling you to combine your work practice with academic education and transfer your theoretical and advanced knowledge to your work life.
The duration of the study program depends on your study curriculum and is usually somewhere between 3 and 6 semesters.
Requirements
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in biotechnology or medical technology or a course of study with substantially similar content (such as biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, biosystems engineering, biomedicine, pharmacy).
Minimum standard period of study: 3.5 years.
Required ECTS crеdits: 210.
Qualified professional experience of at least one year after obtaining the first university degreе.

These are the following documents in simple copy:
- Certificate of Bachelor's or diploma degree.
- Complete certificate of university entrance qualification.
- A statement as to whether the applicant has lost the right to take the examination at a domestic or foreign university in the same degree program or in degree programs with essentially the same content.
- Certificates and other documents attesting to your previous career. This includes evidence of one year of relevant professional experience.
- CV in tabular form.
- Proof of German language skills (see language requirements, required for applicants whose native language is not German).
If these documents are not in German or English, an official translation into German or English is requirеd.
