Course Description
The interdisciplinary Master's program in Biotechnology provides comprehensive knowledge in molecular biology, bioprocess engineering, bioinformatics, and laboratory analytics. The program is conducted two-thirds in German and one-third in English.

The program is designed for graduates in biotechnology, bioengineering, biosciences, or related fields who want to deepen their expertise and explore academic or industrial research careers.
Special Program Features
Small Cohort, Big Impact
Only 20 students are admitted per year, ensuring a competitive environment with excellent supervision and strong mentoring throughout the program.
First-Hand Insights into the Industry
Annual excursions to research institutions like the Robert Koch Institute, biotech expos, and major industry players like BASF, ACHEMA and Berlin-based startups foster career orientation. → More Info
Integrated Research Right from the Start
From the very beginning, students are involved in research projects — whether in state-of-the-art biology laboratories, in metabolic modeling, or in the fight against resistant pathogens.
