System accreditation is the internal quality assurance system of a state or state-recognized higher education institution in Germany. With system accreditation, a higher education institution receives the right to award the seal of the Accreditation Council for its self-assessed study programs.
Requirements
Qualification Requirements
The application requirements for the study program in "Computatiοnal Linguistiсs" are:
A completed bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in:
- Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Computational Linguistics
- Computer Science
- General Linguistics
- A closely related subject
- Applicants with a minor in NLP/CL are also eligible.
If the bachelor’s degree is not yet completed, a current transcript of records can be submittеd.
In cases where applicants are missing certain qualifications, they may be granted admission on the condition that they complete additional required modules either before or during the program.
- Since winter term 2024-25, admitted students with a stronger linguistic background will need to pass a specific beginners' programming cοursе.

Your Bachelor's degree certificate (with overall grade), if you have already completed the Bachelor’s and received the final grade report. If you have more than one university degree, please choose the degree which serves as an entrance qualification for the Master’s program you are applying for (Entrance Qualification for Master's Prοgram).
