Previous Degree

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent):

  • at a scientific university in Germany or abroad on the basis of at least three years of study with one of the following subjects as part of this degree: English / American Studies (English), Scandinavian studies (Danish), German studies (German), Romance studies (French, Spanish), cultural studies, media studies, art or textiles; or
  • in cultural and language mediators within the framework of the German-Danish cooperation between the Syddansk Universitet and the European University Flensburg.

  1. Application form for the online procedure.
  2. Supplement to the application form.
  3. University entrance qualification, e.g. Abitur certificate (simple copy).
  4. Final certificate (external graduates in officially certified copies. Graduates of the EUF in simple copies).
  5. Transcript of Records (simple copy).
  6. Proof of sufficient German language skills (applicants without a German university entrance qualification or a degree in a German-language course).
  7. Proof of sufficient English language skills.
  8. Current study certificate or Exma certificate from the most recently attended German university (only external applicants).
  9. Optional: addressed and adequately stamped envelope (DIN A 4 or DIN A 5, not boxed) for the return of the application documents in the event of non-consideration.
