Course Description
Today, cyberattacks pose a massive and unprecedented threat in many businesses. This has created a need for cyber security specialists with a deep understanding of modern operating systems, cloud computing and software forensics. IU's practice-oriented cyber security program on campus teaches you everything you need to know about securing data and implementing top security procedures for systems used by businesses all over the world. You'll also learn how to use statistical and digital forensic methodologies to safeguard infrastructures against attacks, threats, and malware. With IU's on-campus option, you will be eligible for an 18-month post-study visa that will allow you to work and explore Germany after your studies.

Qualification Requirements
The application requirements for the study program in "Cyber Seсuritу" are:
Previous bachelor’s degree:
- From a public or officially recognized university/higher education institution
Min ECTS required for the 60 ECTS option:
- 240 ECTS. If you have less than 240 ECTS on your university degree, begin your studies after having passed their admission test TASC.
Min ECTS required for the 120 ECTS option:
- 180 ECTS.
At least a ‘satisfactory’ or Grade C equivalent in your previous educatiοn.
- Proof of at least one year’s qualified work experience completed prior to the start of the study program.
- Proof of at least two year’s qualified work experience completed by the end of the study рrοgram.
