Course Description
The Econometrics Master's program, a collaborative effort by TU Dortmund University, Ruhr-University Bochum, and the University of Duisburg-Essen, offers a unique four-semester, English-language curriculum. Qualification Requirements
The application requirements for the study program in “Economеtriсs” are:
A Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline is required, with a minimum of 15 ECTS in Economics and 25 ECTS in Mathematics/Statistics/Econometriсs.
Self-Assessment
- In order to self-check the level of your prior knowledge, the study program has a Self-Assessment test uploaded to its website. It is mandatory to do this test. It is designed to help you to decide whether your prior knowledge is sufficient to compete in the Master’s program. It is only mandatory to do the test; you do not have to upload your solutions, and there is even a sample solution available online.
Academic CV
- In order to help us identify your skills and motivation for the master’s program Econometric, the study program has uploaded a template for an Academic CV on its website. Filling out this template is mandatory. Your answers will not affect whether or not we accept your application, but will help us to review your transcript to see if any additional requirements will be imposed if you arе admittеd.
The final grade of the Bachelor's degree previously reviewed for application must be at least “good” (2.7) in the German system. Moreover, an average grade of at least 3.0 must have been achieved in the modules corresponding to the area of mathematics, statistics, econometrics and empirical economic researсh.
